The Financial Services Authority (FSA)

The Financial Services Authority (FSA) is the independent watchdog set up by the Government to regulate the financial service industry and protect consumer rights in the UK financial services market. All mortgage lenders and intermediaries including mortgage and insurance brokers, are required to register with the FSA,
and follow the rules laid down with respect  to the sale and marketing of Regulated Mortgage Contracts and General Insurance of the type offered on this web site. These regulations are designed to ensure the consumer gets fair and transparent treatment when entering into a mortgage or general insurance contract.
